Learn To Take Rejection

A thick skin is essential if you are to find success as an actor, as it is very rare for those who are new to the industry to achieve success from the off. Understand that rejection is something you are likely going to have to deal with on a regular basis and focus on making improvements based on the feedback that you receive during auditions.

Use Your Body

Your voice isn’t the only tool at your disposal, so it is important that you learn how to properly use your body to convey emotions. You need to be able to adopt the mannerisms of the character that you are playing in order to be convincing.

Have Fun

Actors who clearly enjoy their crafts and have enthusiasm are more likely to catch the eye, so always remember what it is that made you fall in love with acting when performing.
